Dustin Ash finished a season-best fourth in the No. 11 on June 18 at Kern County Raceway. The SPS Super Late Model team entered three cars in the $10,000-to-win "JM Environmental Inc. Wild West Shootout Flick the Switch – Bulwark 'FR Firecracker 100."
Ash started fifth and completed a clean race. Jim Wulfenstein also finished in the top 10 at one of his favorite tracks.
Joe Farré returned to the No. 54 for his first race of the season. He and Ash both qualified in the top 10, but an incident on lap 86 sent Farré to the pits. The crew returned the car to the track, and he finished 11th.
The team next heads to Stockton for Round 6 on July 16.
