Jonathan Mawhinney finishes third at All American Speedway

Jonathan Mawhinney finished third in SRL Round 6 at Roseville as Derek Thorn led every lap for his 46th series victory.

Jonathan Mawhinney finished third at All American Speedway in Roseville as Derek Thorn led every lap for his 46th career SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour victory and fifth win at the track.

Thorn collected $6,800, including bonuses from JM Environmental Inc., Dave Reeves Complete Auto Care and McGunegill Engine Performance. Jacob Gomes challenged him on restarts before Thorn pulled clear during the final long green-flag run.

Linny N Sunny White finished second, ahead of Mawhinney and Tyler Fabozzi. Gomes faded to fifth. Cole Moore finished sixth, followed by Kyle Neveau, Carlos E. Vieira, John Moore and Tracy Bolin.

The "JM Environmental Inc Wild West Shootout Round #2 Thunderstruck 127 presented by 51 FIFTY" was the sixth round of the 2020 SRL season and the second round of the Wild West Shootout.

The series next heads to Kern County Raceway for the October Classic.
