Tyler Reif finished fifth for SPS Racing at Sonoma Raceway after mechanical issues ended his challenge for the win.
Reif moved into second after qualifying and held the position for much of the first half before the problems slowed the car. He still completed the race in the top five, with Dover Motor Speedway next.
