Jaron Giannini finished sixth and fifth in the No. 23 SPS car during the ARCA doubleheader at Irwindale Speedway last weekend. The two races marked his debut in the series.
Giannini worked with the crew over three days to learn the car and adjust to its differences from his previous racing experience.
Team owner Joe Farré credited Giannini’s discipline and car control, along with the crew’s work throughout the weekend. He also thanked Giannini’s father, Steve, and the family’s support network for helping make the debut possible.
It was a lot of fun and a great learning experience. Looking back now, there were a few things I could've done differently, but that's all part of the learning process. The entire SPS crew did an incredible job over the three days, making me comfortable with the car and helping me adjust to its differences from what I'm used to. Thanks to Joe for the opportunity and the team for all of their hard work and support!

We all know what it takes to get a quality car, driver, and support group to the race track, and for this group to step up and make this opportunity possible also deserves recognition and appreciation for their dedication to Jaron, the sport, and SPS.
Jaron is really good at knowing how and when to drive a car to its limits. This combination of skills and abilities is both rare and unique, and we are proud to be associated with Jaron and to have been a part of this awesome experience.
We certainly hope that this gets more of the racing community and network to get behind and support this talented young man
